Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on a 12-bed Medical Surgical unit.
• Monitor and record patient conditions, administer medications, and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic health records.
• Support patient comfort and advocate for patient needs during shift.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical setting.
• Current and valid RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with electronic health record systems, such as Cerner.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in a hospital setting located within 50 miles of Duluth, GA.
• Familiarity with patient intensive therapy protocols (e.g., additional 3 hours/day).
• Ability to adapt to a relocated unit due to renovations.
