Registered Nurse ICU

Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, contract (up to 32 weeks), night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to ICU patients, ensuring safety and compliance with clinical protocols
• Float to MICU when needed, supporting various intensive care units as designated
• Maintain flexibility to adapt schedule based on unit and patient needs
• Follow all hospital policies, including required scrubs and equipment standards
• Participate in bi-weekly orientations and contribute to a collaborative, team-based environment

Required Qualifications

• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification required prior to start date
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, specifically in large (500+ bed) teaching facilities
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years is mandatory
• Experience with hemodynamic devices and patient populations including post-cardiac surgery, vascular, trauma, general surgery, and neurosurgery

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CCRN certification is highly recommended
• Ability to demonstrate a flexible, responsive approach to patient care and unit needs
