Key Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures within a Level II Trauma Center, including CVOR and main OR cases
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure sterile techniques are maintained
• Support surgical teams during complex procedures such as CABG, valve replacements, thoracic, and vascular surgeries
• Float between units as needed and adhere to unit policies and guidelines
• Maintain safety and equipment standards, ensure patient safety, and collaborate effectively with medical staff

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years CVOR experience
• Main OR experience with willingness to float to main OR
• Ability to scrub in various surgical procedures
• Experience with Meditech EMR system
• Valid Surgical Technologist certification (or relevant license)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bilingual or additional language skills (optional)
• Experience with new equipment or advanced technology in operating rooms
• Flexible team player with a positive attitude
• Prior travel surgical tech experience preferred
