Travel Contract, 16-32 weeks, Days shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized telemetry nursing care in a neurosurgical and surgical unit
- Adhere to patient care protocols and documentation standards using Epic EMR system
- Collaborate with healthcare team to meet the needs of patients and ensure quality outcomes
- Work every other weekend or as scheduled, with flexibility to meet unit requirements
- Maintain compliance with all facility and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent unit experience in a large, teaching hospital setting
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (NIHSS required prior to start)
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (non-negotiable)
- Ability to start by 1/12 for a 16–32 week assignment
- Reliable transportation (personal or rental vehicle recommended) during winter months
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in neurosurgical and surgical units
- Familiarity with large hospital facilities and teaching environments
