• Full-time, Days shift, 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures within the Cath Lab/EP lab setting
• Set up and operate specialized equipment for cardiac procedures, ensuring proper sterile techniques and safety protocols
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias and other urgent cardiac events
• Assist with procedures such as cardiac implant closures, stent placements, IABP placements, and transradial/transfemoral angiographies
• Document procedures accurately using Cerner or equivalent electronic medical records system
• Maintain infection control practices, including use of isolation precautions and sterile technique

Required Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a diagnostic or interventional cardiac catheterization lab
• Valid IL license in hand at the time of application
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, RCIS (required)
• Experience with Cerner charting system
• Knowledge of equipment setup and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience with adult cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures such as PCI, PTCA, and right/left heart catheterizations
• Familiarity with Rotablader atherectomy and other advanced cath lab procedures
• Competency in infection control standards and sterile technique
• Open to first-time travelers that meet experience and certification criteria

• This position requires floating within scope across the hospital to meet facility needs.
• Flexible scheduling options and schedule requests can be discussed with the hiring manager.
• Candidates must be able to work 2-3 weekends per contract and respond to on-call duties as needed.
• RTO requests of up to 5 days are preferred; any additional must be approved.
• All travelers must complete compliance and onboarding requirements prior to start date.
