Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit at a major hospital
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess patient conditions
• Recognize and respond to ECG rhythms and other vital signs
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with hospital protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Work at least every other holiday, as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignments
• Active Ohio license or valid compact state license
• Recent Medical Surgical Telemetry experience (travel experience acceptable)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications active and current
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Negative drug screen within 12 months with Nicotine (for non-nurses and non-CSTs)
• BCI/FBI background checks completed within 48 hours of start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital environment with large healthcare systems
• Previous travel or agency nursing experience preferred
• Familiarity with hospital electronic medical records systems
