Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, rotating shifts (3x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care within the Intermediate Care/Progressive Care/Stepdown unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including cardiac rhythms, and respond accordingly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and compliance.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly and accurately in compliance with hospital standards.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety protocols, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel.
• Valid Ohio nursing license or active compact state license.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to recognize ECG rhythms and pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Willingness to work at least every other holiday.
• Successful completion of required assessments with acceptable scores.
• Pass background checks, drug screens, and fingerprinting within specified timeframes.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent Cardiac Stepdown experience—travel experience is acceptable.
• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required.
