- Full-time, night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide postpartum and labor patient care on weekends (Friday to Sunday)
- Monitor and assist during labor and delivery processes
- Care for postpartum patients, ensuring safe recovery and comfort
- Float within hospital units as needed, maintaining flexibility
- Complete documentation accurately using electronic medical records (Epic)
Required Qualifications
- NC RN license (active or pending with ETA clearly stated)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications via AHA (must be current and valid throughout assignment)
- Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery
- Recent experience with Epic EMR preferred
- Valid Driver's License for address verification
- References required and must include recent clinical supervisors
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with postpartum and labor patient care during night shifts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Knowledge of hospital policies regarding float assignments and compliance
