• Days / 12-hour shifts / Travel contract, 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit with moderate acuity, including vascular and bariatric patients.
• Monitor patient conditions using EMR systems and operate various medical equipment such as Alaris Pumps, bladder scanners, and chest tube systems.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to maintain appropriate patient ratios and ensure quality care during day shifts.
• Adhere to unit policies, dress code, and safety procedures, including weekend and on-call coverage.
• Support patient needs through accurate assessments, documentation, and communication with the healthcare team.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Experience working on Med-Surg/Telemetry units.
• Ability to operate EMR systems (Sunrise).
• Must have Telemetry certification.
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification.
• Experience with bariatric patient care.
• Familiarity with hospital equipment such as Dinamaps and Vein Finders.
• Previous travel nursing experience.
