Job Title

• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Nights, 12-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an intermediate care, progressive care, or stepdown unit, utilizing critical care and neuroscience principles.
• Care for a diverse patient population including neuro trauma, post-surgical patients, and individuals with neurological or ENT cancer-related issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.
• Adhere to safety protocols and unit policies, including float policy and travel compliance.
• Participate in unit-specific modules and mandatory training.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia or pending licensure with license in hand before start date.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIH certification required prior to start (may be submitted pending).
• Epic experience.
• Successful completion of required certifications in accordance with job description and unit policies.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred.
• Previous experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units.
• Experience working in neuro or critical care settings.
