Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the IMC, Progressive Care Unit, or Stepdown unit
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including cardiac rhythms
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
- Document patient information accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio license or valid compact state license
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown nursing prior to travel assignment
- Recent Cardiac Stepdown experience or travel experience acceptable
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Ability to recognize ECG rhythms and perform safe medication administration
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores
- Willingness to work at least every other holiday
- Background check: Negative 10-panel drug screen and nicotine test within the past 12 months
- Completion of BCI/FBI fingerprints within 48 hours of contract signing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with PCU/Progressive Care units
- Familiarity with hospital policies and procedures related to cardiac patients

- This position will involve rotating night and day shifts
- All certifications must be active and up-to-date
