Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location: Olathe, KS

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, nights, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care on PCU, IMC, and stepdown units in a 300-bed acute care hospital
• Monitor critically ill patients, including managing CRRT, Bipaps, chest tubes, PICC lines, and drawing labs
• Conduct own codes and respond to emergency situations confidently
• Collaborate with healthcare team members across inpatient units and perform float duties as needed
• Adhere to hospital policies and maintain compliance with all licensing and certification requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Kansas RN license or Compact RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Critical Care or Intensive Care Unit
• Experience with CRRT, Bipaps, drawing labs, Chest Tubes, PICC, and conducting codes
• Ability to float across multiple inpatient units including ICU, Med/Surg, Telemetry, and ED

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Proven ability to work independently and handle emergency situations
• Flexibility to work every other weekend and participate in unit-specific on-call requirements if applicable
