Key Responsibilities
• Provide professional nursing care to patients in an outpatient clinic setting, adhering to standards of practice.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs using the nursing process, including patient assessments, triage, education, and medication administration.
• Promote a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to patient care involving families and care team members.
• Document patient interactions and care plans accurately in healthcare records.
• Participate in quality improvement, safety, and infection prevention programs.
• Support professional development and stay current with healthcare practices and policies.
Required Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Valid Utah Registered Nurse license.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift/move up to 20 lbs. without assistance, and heavier with assistance.
• One year of RN experience preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in outpatient or ambulatory care settings.
• Knowledge of age-specific principles of growth and development.
• Proficiency in patient triage and patient education.
