• Full-time, rotating shifts
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room setting for surgical patients
• Assist surgical teams during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes throughout procedures
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety regulations
• Participate in on-call rotations, including one weeknight call per week and weekend on-call every fifth weekend
Required Qualifications
• Valid and active Registered Nurse license
• Previous experience or training in operating room nursing preferred
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques
• Ability to work in a rotating schedule, including nights and weekends
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) is a plus
