Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Day shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Document patient assessments and care activities using EMR systems, preferably Meditech or comparable.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure positive patient outcomes.
• Respond promptly to patient needs during labor, delivery, and post-partum periods.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards, including successful completion of required certifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation and provide supportive care to patients and their families.

Required Qualifications

• Current New Mexico or Multi-State RN license.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHO.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Proficiency with EMR documentation preferred.
• Willingness to accept first-time traveler candidates.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar EMR systems.
• Ability to arrive promptly when on-call within 30 minutes.
