Key Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic treatment to patients across various hospital units including ICU, Step Down, Oncology, Medical, Surgical, Neuro/Tele, and Orthopedic departments
• Document patient progress and treatment plans using EPIC electronic charting system
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Support a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care in a short-term acute care setting
• Occasional weekend and holiday coverage as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in an acute hospital setting, covering floors such as ICU, Step Down, Oncology, Medical, Surgical, Neuro/Tele, and Orthopedic units
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Missouri (or compact license in a qualifying state) at the time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in Emergency Room, ICU, or Medical Surgical units
• Ability to support multiple hospital units and adapt to different patient care needs
• Strong communication skills, including handling telephone calls and support unit coordination
