Key Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiogram, ultrasound, and vascular exams
- Float between different departments based on patient needs
- Adhere to hospital dress code and PPE requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed
- Provide high-quality patient care during imaging procedures
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure diagnostic accuracy
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in echocardiography or ultrasound tech
- Valid state license (compact license accepted)
- Ability to work days Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Willingness to float between units as needed
- Must be able to work on-call, holidays (e.g., Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)
- References: Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year within the past 3 years
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center or acute care setting
- Familiarity with hospital protocols for ultrasound/sonography procedures
- Ability to manage exam ratios (~10 exams per shift) effectively
