- Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week, on-call component
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the circulator and surgeon in the care of surgical patients
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment during procedures
- Support qualified operating room personnel to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency
- Adhere to all applicable state and federal healthcare regulations and policies
- Perform a variety of duties to ensure smooth surgical operations
Required Qualifications
- Certification or licensing as a surgical technologist or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a surgical setting or operating room preferred
- Familiarity with surgical instrumentation and sterilization processes
