Schedule / Job Type:

Travel, Night shifts, 3x12 hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric nursing care to patients in a hospital setting during night shifts
• Monitor and document patient conditions, ensuring safety and compliance with treatment plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Follow all hospital protocols and uphold safety standards
• Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
• Complete required certifications and documentation promptly

Required Qualifications:

• Valid compact or state nursing license in Ohio
• Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• Psychiatric experience is mandatory
• Ability to work night shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
• Willingness to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
