• Full-time, Day shifts, 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Assist providers during diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures in a hybrid lab environment.
• Scrub and circulate during IR, cardiology, and vascular procedures.
• Support urgent and emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures, including rapid response to STEMI calls.
• Prepare and operate specialized equipment such as GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Canon and GE Labs, AngioJet, Pneumbra, EKOS, Inari, and others.
• Adhere to protocols for medication administration performed solely by Registered Nurses.
• Follow all safety and procedural guidelines to ensure patient safety and procedural success.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in IR, Cath Lab, or similar specialized procedure units.
• Valid NC or Compact state license, in hand at the time of start.
• IR experience and proficiency in scrub and circulate duties.
• Certifications: ACLS and BCLS required.
• Must have ARRT, RCIS, RCES, or RCIT certification, with additional experience preferred.
• Experience performing EKG lead placement is highly desirable.
• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment, responding to emergent procedures with a 30-minute callback time for STEMIs.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced ARRT certification or RCIS/RCES with additional med experience.
• Proficiency with Epic charting or similar electronic medical records systems.
• Experience working with a diverse patient population, including adults and geriatrics.

Additional Details

• No holiday RTO allowed; candidate must work at least 2 of 3 major holidays.
• Orientation includes 40 hours of training, with additional up to 80 hours as needed.
• Scrubs are provided; candidate must be prepared to float within the facility based on skill set and census.
• Candidates must complete mandatory modules prior to start and annually.
• References are highly recommended from recent supervisors, and candidates should be prepared for travel compliance and rapid onboarding.
• No onsite RTO after booking; candidates must be able to start within 48 hours of signing.
