Job Title
• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Location
• Columbus, OH
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and execute specialized procedures such as burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
• Document patient information using electronic health records (EPIC) and manage medication distribution via Pyxis
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary support teams including respiratory, physical therapy, social work, and pharmacy
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards during assigned shift
Required Qualifications
• Valid Ohio or Compact State RN license at the time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a PCU, IMC, or stepdown setting with similar patient types
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with electronic health records (EPIC) and medication systems (Pyxis)
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous charge RN experience
• Experience in a teaching hospital environment
