Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and efficient care to ER patients in a high-volume trauma environment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality emergency care
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient status using advanced equipment
• Document patient information accurately using Cerner system
• Maintain adherence to hospital policies, including patient experience and safety standards
• Flexibly float within all sections of the Emergency Department as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in an ER setting
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC certifications (or able to obtain upon hire)
• Valid nursing license in the state of North Carolina
• Experience in Level 2 trauma centers or high-volume emergency rooms (>100,000 visits)
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with HCA facilities preferred
• Skilled in advanced emergency procedures and caring for diverse patient populations
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced and multicultural environments

• Uniform: Navy scrubs
• Work schedule: 3 nights per week, with scheduled weekends and flexibility based on department needs
• Department specifics include a 101-bed facility with patient ratios of 4:1, up to 7:1 during behavioral holds
