Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a Level II trauma center.
  -Administer treatments, medications, and procedures following hospital protocols and standards.
• Monitor patient conditions, document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge instructions.
• Adhere to safety, compliance, and infection control policies in a fast-paced emergency department.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license applicable to North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a registered nurse, with at least 1-year in an emergency department.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications prior to start date.
• Experience working in a high-volume ED with diverse patient needs.
• Ability to work well under pressure and demonstrate teamwork and leadership skills.
• Flexibility to work additional shifts or float within the ED as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience at a Level 2 trauma center or comprehensive stroke center.
• Knowledge of advanced emergency procedures and use of hospital equipment.
• Previous experience with HCA healthcare systems is a plus.
• Bilingual skills or experience serving a multicultural community.
