Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons as a First Assist during orthopedic and spine surgeries.
- Provide surgical support for procedures including joint replacements, hand, foot, ankle, and sports medicine surgeries.
- Maintain sterile field and assist with instrumentation.
- Follow unit-specific policies and participate in surgical procedures utilizing various equipment.
- Collaborate with OR team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Tech (CST) certification, or eligible for certification with relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2 years surgical technician experience, specifically with orthopedic and spine surgeries.
- BLS certification.
- Experience in procedures such as Total Joint Replacement, Sports Medicine, and Pain Management surgeries.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Advanced surgical skills in robotic total joint replacements.
- Familiarity with unit-specific documentation and protocols.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments with attention to detail.
