Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons as a First Assist during orthopedic and spine surgeries.
• Provide surgical support for procedures including joint replacements, hand, foot, ankle, and sports medicine surgeries.
• Maintain sterile field and assist with instrumentation.
• Follow unit-specific policies and participate in surgical procedures utilizing various equipment.
• Collaborate with OR team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Tech (CST) certification, or eligible for certification with relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years surgical technician experience, specifically with orthopedic and spine surgeries.
• BLS certification.
• Experience in procedures such as Total Joint Replacement, Sports Medicine, and Pain Management surgeries.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced surgical skills in robotic total joint replacements.
• Familiarity with unit-specific documentation and protocols.
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments with attention to detail.
