Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care, assessment, and treatment to patients as ordered by a physician in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and home care.
• Perform procedures such as intubations, aerosol delivery, patient assessment, and care planning with minimal assistance.
• Administer therapies following established protocols and maintain accurate documentation of patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, including OSHA respirator fit testing.
• Maintain organized records and communicate effectively with staff and patients.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with an associate’s degree in Respiratory Care.
• Active and current California licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience or strong recommendations for new graduates.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP.
• OSHA Respirator Fit Testing certification within 3 months of hire.
• PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) experience is required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in diverse clinical settings such as inpatient, outpatient, or emergency.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities effectively.
