- Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive telemetry nursing care in a high-acuity hospital setting
- Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, responding promptly to changes
- Administer medications including Heparin drips, TPN, and administer PCAs
- Manage patients with diagnoses such as cellulitis, back pain, kidney stones, and perform pre/post-operative care for general surgery, bariatric, gynecological, urology, and orthopedic patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float to all acute care units as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Kansas RN license or Compact RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg experience within the last 18 months in a hospital environment
- Experience with General Surgery, Bariatric, Gynecological, Urology, Orthopedics, and medical diagnoses such as cellulitis, back pain, kidney stones
- Proficiency in measuring and interpreting telemetry rhythms
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with Heparin drips, TPN, PCAs
- Ability to quickly adapt to different hospital units and EMR systems (EPIC preferred)
- Ability to work every other weekend and some holidays as required

Notes
- Orientation includes 8 hours of non-billable training at the main campus, followed by on-site and virtual Epic training
- Will start on either 1/20 or 2/2 at a main campus with detailed onboarding
- Holiday work required, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's, with flexible scheduling options
- Cancellations allowed with a minimum of 2 hours’ notice
- No on-call requirements
