• Travel, Night Shift, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac patients and responding to alarms.
• Administer medications, perform procedures such as central line management, medication drips, and chest tube care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Utilize electronic medical records to document patient information accurately.
• Assist in procedures like heart cath recovery and bubble studies.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during night shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of Kansas or eligible for licensure.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in telemetry or cardiac units.
• Ability to operate EMR systems, such as Meditech.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with central lines, medication drips, and cardiac procedures.
• Strong critical thinking and independent work skills.
• Positive attitude and engaged personality.
