- Full-time, Day shift, 4 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately in an acute care hospital setting
- Assist pharmacists with medication management and patient care duties
- Ensure compliance with state license requirements and hospital policies
- Float between hospital units and affiliate facilities as needed
- Maintain required documentation and charting, primarily using Epic system
- Work scheduled hours of 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with variable start times between 5:00 AM and 12:00 PM, depending on department needs
Required Qualifications
- Valid California pharmacy license in hand
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant hospital pharmacy experience or equivalent
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts with flexibility for variable start times
- References: Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering at least 6 months of employment within the last three years
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience in acute care settings
- Ability to float across units and to nearby facilities
- Knowledge of hospital policies regarding float and RTO restrictions
