- Full-time, days shift, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Interventional Radiology procedures such as angiograms, venograms, PICC line placements, port-a-cath insertions, vertebroplasty, embolizations, biliary tube exchanges, nephrostomies, IVUS, fistulograms, transjugular biopsies, IVC filter removals, and thrombectomy for neuro cases.
- Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment including EKOS, Inari, Penumbra, and Jeti systems.
- Ensure accurate charting using EPIC EMR system.
- Adhere to safety and compliance protocols, including COVID and flu vaccinations, and maintaining certifications.
- Participate in call rotations, including weekday and weekend on-call duties.
- Float between multiple locations as needed, based on staffing and case volume.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology.
- BLS certification required.
- Valid Kentucky (KY) or compact state license (pending upon submission).
- Minimum of 2 years IR Tech experience.
- EPIC EMR experience required.
- Willingness to obtain COVID and flu vaccinations, or valid exemptions.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Travel experience highly preferred.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with a variety of IR procedures and advanced imaging equipment.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
