Registered Nurse - CVICU
Location: Baltimore, MD
Schedule / Job Type: Night Shift (3x12-Hour Shifts)
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and administer medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Manage overflow patients and support ICU functions as needed.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies.
• Float within the facility and to affiliated hospitals as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Maryland or Compact State nursing license.
• At least 2 years of ICU experience, with a minimum of 2 years in CVICU.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, SSC, and CALS certifications.
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM).
• References from previous employers.
• Must have worked with the facility within the past year or be a local candidate.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in mixed ICU environments.
• Prior work at or familiarity with the facility policies regarding traveler duration and separation requirements.
