• Full-time, night shift, 36 hours per week, 3 shifts per week, on-site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to neuro and medical-surgical telemetry patients in a Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and stroke-certified center.
• Monitor and assess neurological and general medical patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions.
• Perform basic EKG testing and utilize telemetry equipment.
• Support hospital operations by floating within scope to other units as needed.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including travel compliance and separation policies.
• Complete required virtual modules prior to or during the assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Maryland or Compact RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Neuro and telemetry experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Basic EKG testing proficiency (training provided if needed).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in neurology and stroke care.
• Familiarity with hospital floating policies and compliance.
• Strong documentation and assessment skills.
