Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, nights (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac surgery patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor patient vitals, recognize changes in patient condition, and respond appropriately.
• Utilize EPIC electronic charting system to document patient care accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float within scope as needed to support unit staffing requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of recent CVICU or CSICU experience at a Level 1 facility.
• EPIC charting experience is mandatory.
• Active VA or compact state RN license at the time of submission.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Willingness to work night shifts and float as required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred.
• Experience with VA or compact states' licensing requirements.
• Ability to complete assigned orientation modules during the first week of assignment.
