Key Responsibilities

• Perform adult acute care, outpatient, ER/Trauma MRI exams, including abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, musculoskeletal, and spine imaging.
• Operate GE and Phillips MRI equipment, including specialized procedures such as angiograms, MRV, MRCP, and post-processing techniques.
• Prepare and administer contrast media, initiate peripheral IVs, and follow isolation precautions.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures, including anesthesia cases.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication within hospital systems.
• Support general MRI exams and specialized imaging as needed, with adherence to safety and procedural protocols.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification or ARRT R certification.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience, including travel experience.
• NC or Compact state license in radiologic technology with MRI specialization.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in adult ICU, pediatric acute care/outpatient settings, or with chest and specialized spine imaging.
• Knowledge of GE and Phillips MRI equipment, including advanced imaging procedures.
• Familiarity with hospital systems such as EPIC and SBAR communication protocols.
• Comfortable floating within hospital units or to affiliate facilities as needed.
