• Full-time, temporary (travel), rotating shifts (days and nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Intensive Care, Progressive Care, or Stepdown units, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including cardiac rhythms, and respond to emergencies.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Document patient information and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
• Participate in shift rotations including days and nights, working at least every other holiday.
• Complete assessments such as ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate during orientation.

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio License or Compact State License in hand at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent experience in ICU, PCU, or Stepdown units prior to travel.
• Certifications: American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (active and current).
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores.
• Must have a valid Drug Screen (Nicotine/10 Panel), completed within 12 months, if applicable.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in cardiac stepdown or progressive care units preferred but not required.
• Experience working in a travel or contingent healthcare environment preferred.
