Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

• 13-week contract, night shift, 12-hour shifts, on-call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in the ER setting
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patient conditions using EMR systems and medical equipment
• Assist in trauma and critical care procedures, including airway support and central line placements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in compliance with hospital policies

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas or appropriate compact licensure
• Active BLS and ACLS certification
• Certification in ENPC and TNCC
• Previous inpatient or emergency room experience of at least 1 year
• Knowledge of MEDITECH EMR system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma nursing experience
• Holding NIHSS certification
• Experience with behavioral health patient de-escalation techniques
• Prior use of rapid infusers and trauma assist equipment
