Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a Medical Surgical and Telemetry setting during night shifts
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver safe, effective patient care
- Adhere to all hospital protocols, safety standards, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent and permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Valid Ohio or compact state RN license in hand at the time of submission
- BLS and ACLS certifications active and current
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
- Must be able to work at least every other holiday
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a large hospital or healthcare system
- Demonstrated proficiency in telemetry monitoring and cardiac care
- Familiarity with hospital electronic health record systems
