Job Title

• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

• Night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for patients in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Perform med titrations, CPAP/BiPAP management, and charge-capable night travel assignments.
• Conduct IV starts, monitor patient conditions, perform labs, administer medications, and educate patients.
• Document care accurately using the EPIC EMR system.
• Demonstrate flexibility by floating to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed and working every other weekend if required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and IV certification.
• Proficiency in IV starts and general nursing skills.
• Valid Ohio license or compact license in hand at submission.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience in a similar setting.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to unit needs.

Additional Notes

• This role requires compliance with Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon booking, with strict deadlines.
• RTO (Request for Time Off) must be built into the contract and submitted with the application.
• Only submit candidates with valid Ohio licenses; out-of-state license holders within driving distance must complete fingerprinting in Ohio.
• Candidates must be responsive and cooperative with credentialing to avoid cancellations or delays.
• References: Two professional references required, including at least one from a supervisor or director.
• Must be willing to work night shifts, with three 12-hour shifts per week, in Columbus, Ohio.
