Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.
• Monitor critically ill patients, including those on advanced life support.
• Administer medications, perform procedures such as intubations, central lines, and chest tubes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and maintained according to hospital policies.
• Adhere to unit-specific protocols and safety guidelines for all procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license (TEMP licenses not accepted).
• Minimum of 2-3 years of ICU experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS certification; NIH Stroke Certification preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Ability to float between units as required (per hospital policy).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• MICU & MSICU background.
• IABP, CRRT, and Meditech experience.
• Experience with procedures like NG tubes, Foley Catheters, and dressing changes.
