Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit, or Stepdown Unit.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky or the ability to obtain one.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown units.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
