• Travel, Night shift, 13-week assignment, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized critical care nursing to ICU patients in a hospital setting.
• Utilize advanced skills such as ventilator management, port access, chest tubes, NG tubes, and wound vacs.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions using telemetry systems and other medical equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care and ensure safety.
• Follow unit-specific policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Float to relevant units including PCU, 3rd floor, or ED as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience in a hospital setting.
• Current active nursing license (compact license preferred if applicable).
• BLS and ACLS certifications up to date.
• NIH certification (must be renewed annually).
• Must have Kentucky or Compact state nursing license.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with chest tubes, NG tubes, wound vac, drains, post-dialysis assessment, central lines, blood transfusions, and ventilators.
• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring, paracentesis, therapeutic phlebotomy, and BiPap management.
