Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

• Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, travel (13-week assignment)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Monitor fetal and maternal health using advanced fetal monitoring equipment.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, epidurals, and other obstetric procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately utilizing electronic health record systems.
• Ensure bedside shift reports are conducted consistently to promote patient safety.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license with experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Intermediate fetal monitoring certification.
• Triage experience in obstetric settings.
• Current BLS, NRP, and Stable certifications.
• Ability to circulate in OR and perform couplet care.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with postpartum tubals, cerclage removal, and circumcisions.
• Familiarity with GE fetal monitors and Novii wireless monitoring systems.
• Experience working in a high-acuity obstetric unit with a focus on patient safety and teamwork.
