Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Medical Surgical unit, including post-op and orthopedic patients
• Perform procedures such as blood transfusions, IV and central line maintenance
• Document patient information using Meditech (transitioning from Medhost)
• Collaborate with unit staff, including secretaries and technologists, to ensure quality care
• Float between MS2 and MS3 floors as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license
• Basic Med/Surg experience, with experience handling post-op and orthopedic patients
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a rotating schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with electronic medical records systems (Meditech preferred)
• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
