• Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Location
• Olathe, KS
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Day shifts, 12-hour shifts (0630-1900), starting between 1/20 and 2/2
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the operating room setting
• Assist with surgical procedures across various specialties including general surgery, robotics, orthopedics, GU/GYN, ENT, and plastics
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Adhere to all hospital protocols and safety regulations during procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in electronic medical records (EPIC)
• Support unit operations and ensure a sterile and efficient environment
Required Qualifications
• Valid Kansas RN license or compact license
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in an OR setting with general surgery, robotics, ortho, GU/GYN, ENT, or plastics
• Ability to attend initial 2 days of orientation at designated campus
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Prior OR experience involving robotics or specialized surgical procedures
