Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, day shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, rotating between departments and local locations within 20 miles

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in an operating room setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient needs and responses during shifts.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team to coordinate care.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and protocols, documenting accurately.
• Supervise and support LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel.
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, protocols, and competency requirements for specific patient populations.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years current experience in a large operating room environment.
• Ability to scrub in surgical procedures.
• Valid RN license for the state of New Mexico or in a compact state.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred and can be obtained post-hire.
• Successful completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment.
• Must be a team player, flexible, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with Epic EMR system preferred, but training available.
• Orthopedic, EENT, or Vascular surgery experience is a plus.
