Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, travel assignment, dayshift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the Medical-Surgical unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient information accurately using the hospital’s electronic system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist with patient assessments, IV therapy, wound care, and use of medical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and healthcare standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and compassionate patient care skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and follow floating policies.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with respiratory diseases, renal and GI illnesses, and use of advanced procedures such as CVCs, indwelling catheters, and heparin gtts.
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system.
