Full-time, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a long-term acute care (LTAC) setting, monitoring their condition and administering treatments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist with medication management and patient rehabilitation activities.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies on attendance, punctuality, and safety protocols.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately and thoroughly.
- Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies and alarms.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license in Maryland or a Compact state.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience; 2 years preferred for HICU-related roles.
- Current certifications including BLS and ACLS.
- Ability to work night shifts and adhere to facility attendance policies.
- Must be able to float within scope across hospital units as needed.
- References required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in LTAC or long-term care settings.
- Familiarity with ventilator care and complex respiratory patient management.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient needs and coordinate care.
