• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac patients, including interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring.
• Administer and manage cardiac drips such as Diltiazem, Amiodarone, Milrinone, Dopamine, and others.
• Perform pre- and post-procedure care for cardiac catheterizations and surgeries, including sheath removal.
• Access ports, administer blood products, and manage central lines and PICC lines.
• Respond to patient needs within a high-acuity cardiac stepdown unit, ensuring precise medication documentation and safety.

Required Qualifications

• Valid NC or Compact State RN license in hand at start.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience, preferably in telemetry and cardiac units.
• Experience with cardiac drips, sheath pulls, and interpreting dysrhythmias.
• Ability to pass EKG testing prior to start.
• Knowledge of Epic or similar electronic health record systems.
• ACLS certification.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse or leadership experience.
• Additional certifications such as NIH.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, floating environment and handling multiple shifts.
