Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shift, 36-40 hours per week (3x12s or 8/10s)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical/telemetry patients in a hospital setting.
• Monitor and manage vasoactive drips and stroke patients within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately in an electronic health record system.
• Float between hospital campuses as needed to meet facility staffing requirements.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including strict no-smoking policy and compliance with time-sensitive training modules.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent telemetry/acute care nursing experience; 2 years preferred.
• Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Experience with vasoactive drips and stroke patients reflected in work history.
• Ability to float across multiple hospital locations within the region.
• Negative 10-Panel drug screen with nicotine (cotinine) test within the past 12 months.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a teaching or Level Trauma hospital setting.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, acute-care environment.
