Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients on a busy hospital unit
- Monitor patient conditions, perform assessments, and administer medications accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Utilize EMR systems to document patient information and care activities
- Support patients undergoing procedures such as cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and medical management
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado
- Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR system
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Outgoing personality with a "can-do" attitude and confidence in clinical judgment
- Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in surgical, medical, and oncology units
- Bilingual skills or additional language proficiency (preferred)
- NRP certification or Mom/Baby experience (preferred)
