Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility as part of a rehabilitation team.
• Assess patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapy interventions aimed at improving patients' independence and quality of life.
• Document patient progress and communicate treatment outcomes to the healthcare team.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid occupational therapy license for the state of Michigan.
• Excellent assessment and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.
• Knowledge of current therapy techniques and best practices.
